VoiceXML 2.0 Platform Certification Program

At Speechtek 2004 in New-York, the VoiceXML Forum announced the availability of the VoiceXML Platform Certification Program. The Program consists of a series of tests to determine whether a VoiceXML platform is fully compliant with the latest release of the VoiceXML standard

This test suite is defined in the VoiceXML 2.0 Implementation Report writen by the W3C during the VoiceXML 2.0 standardization phase. This test suite proposes a "test framework" based on XSL technologies.

The general availability of this program follows the completion of a successful pilot program conducted with CT Labs, an independent certification laboratory, and companies Nuance (www.nuance.com), VoiceGenie Technologies, Inc. (www.voicegenie.com) and Voxpilot Ltd. (www.voxpilot.com).
